Use of Cookies
The Identipro web site uses "cookies" to help personalise your online experience. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide features to save you time. For example, if you register with our website or add items to your basket while shopping on our site, a cookie helps Identipro to recall your specific information or basket contents on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to our site, the information you previously provided or items you added to basket can be retrieved and shown for you, which improves your experience on our site.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience some features of the Identipro Web site.
Collection of your Personal Information

There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by Identipro when you access our website. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used by Identipro for the operation of the service, to ensure our website functions correctly, and to provide general statistics regarding use of our site and how people find us on the internet.
We DO NOT collect any personally sensitive information such as the ethinicity, sexual orientation or religious beliefs of our customers or website users.
Identipro encourages you to review the privacy statements of Web sites you choose to link to from Identipro so that you can understand how those Web sites collect, use and share your information. Identipro is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on web sites outside of the Identipro and Identipro family of Web sites.
Use of your Personal Information
Identipro collects, stores and processes your personal information to operate the Identipro web site and deliver the products and services you purchase from us.
Identipro does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. Identipro may share data in the course of providing our services to you and supplying you with goods, including providing customer support, or arranging deliveries. When sharing your data with third parties, all such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Identipro, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
Identipro web sites will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Identipro or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Identipro; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Identipro, or the public.
We do share your personal contact information with a small number of trusted partners and data processors solely in the transacting and delivery of services, products or technical support as follows:
- Paypal - you can use your Paypal account to make payment to us for goods ordered on our site.
- Sagepay - when ordering online with a credit/debit card you are passed to the Sagepay payment website where you enter your payment card details securely to complete your transaction.
- Sagepay - when we process an offline manual payment via our office, you give us your card details and we enter the transaction securely into 'Sagepay Terminal Payment Processing' using an isolated computer in our office to charge your card (we then cross-shred the hard copy of the card details we have used so no longer retain your payment card details).
- Couriers - we will log outgoing orders with Royal Mail or selected couriers so your name, delivery address and telephone number will be processed by the postal/courier company we select.
- Reviews.co.uk - our online company reviews are handled by this company so if you order with us we will pass your name and email address to them to allow you to receive a request to leave us an online company review.
- Brady Corporation UK and Europe (the manufacturer of the products we supply) - we may share your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number with Brady if you have a query requiring their involvement to resolve or if you require technical support from Brady or in the provision of a maintenance call from a Brady Engineer.
Storage of your Personal Information
For HMRC/Tax regulatory purposes we store details of your order on our Sage accounting system for at least 7 years.
We have a customer contact database (currently held offline in 'CRM' software) and segment out 'current customers' who have ordered with us in the last 2 years. We do not bombard any customers with marketing messages but we will inform our 'current customers' occasionally of relevant new products, special offers and any annual price increases. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by responding to the 'unsubscribe' email link we add to the bottom of all emails we send.
Customers can request a report of the personal information we hold relating to them, we will supply this personal information report within 30 days of the request.
Security of your Personal Information
Your privacy is important to us, so we'll always keep your details secure. Identipro secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorised access, use or disclosure.
Our computer systems where data is held are protected by a firewall and protected by anti-virus software.
Our staff are trained in the appropriate use of personal data and on avoiding a computer virus when using our systems and software.
Right to be Forgotten
We recognise you have a 'right to be forgotten' in terms of the data we hold on you. We will handle any such request to be erased seriously and will delete all data we hold on you, as long as this does not mean we fall foul of a regulatory requirement, for example holding order details for 7 years for possible HMRC inspection. Even where we need to retain some information for regulatory reasons we can delete you from our website data and customer contact database with immediate effect if you submit a request to be forgotten to us in writing (by letter or email).
Changes to this Statement
Identipro will occasionally update this Statement of Privacy to reflect company and customer feedback. Identipro encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how Identipro is protecting your information.
